Job description / Role
- Posting and processing entries into the accounting software to ensure all business transactions are recorded (bookkeeping)
- Prepare Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash flow Statements
- Generate Tax Invoice & Delivery Notes
- Accounts Receivables & Payables Management
- Follow up and maintain healthy debt collection cycle
- Maintain records of all financial transactions in compliance with FTA
- Weekly audit of VAT related documents to ensure compliance and proper documentation
- VAT input & output calculations
- VAT Filing (Quarterly)
- Assist in budgeting & product pricing process
- Maintain inventory record & carry out inventory audits on monthly basis
- Supervise warehouse team and keep track on inventory movements
- Bank Reconciliation
- Coordinating Supply Chain Activities
- Other administrative task related to accounting and warehouse management
Requirements
- Proven UAE Experience as an Accountant is mandatory (min 2 yrs.)
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks (strongly preferred)
- Well versed with complete bookkeeping framework
- Working knowledge of IFRS (preferred)
- Bachelors in Accounting (professional qualification CMA/ACCA - preferred)
- Strong command on Excel
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Great attention to detail
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- UAE Driving License (preferred)
