Job description / Role

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Oversees and controls full finance and accounts operations of the company
• Performs project-cost accounting such as budgeting, forecasting, preparation of annual financial statements, project financing to bridge cash flow gaps for the preparation of the projects, timely closing of accounts, etc.
• Scrutinizes and oversees all activities related to annual revenue, profit and loss reconciliation, balance sheets, capital budgeting, overhead spending, etc.
• Liaises with banks, auditors, etc. for accurate updating and maintenance of monthly reconciliation statements to keep major client/partner/supplier relationships
• Ensuring availability of resources at all times by accounting fixed assets, performing credit control and monitoring, and guaranteeing timely payments for facilities/loans agreements
• Develops, executes, and finalizes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Maintain VAT compliance and filing VAT on specified period.
• Facilitates smooth execution of annual or quarterly auditing of the company books and ledgers and ensures all clarifications with the auditors are cleared and recommendations and conclusions are implemented accordingly until the approval of the final draft of the financial statements is obtained
• Works closely with the Finance Manager/Chief Accountant with regards to financial reporting at Board Meetings or preparation of any reports required by the Management

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 4,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of working experience as Accountant in the construction/Manufacturing industry in the UAE
• Must be an Accounting-Finance degree holder/semi-qualified CA/CMA
• Should be excellent in MS office package ( Esp. MS Excel, Word)
• Having practical knowledge of the ERP Software is an added advantage
• Any Nationalities
