Accountant

Job description / Role

• Prepare Financial Reports (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Statement of Cash Flow and other reports) on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Preparation monthly/yearly closings.
• Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
• Prepare bank/general ledger reconciliation, accounts payables/receivables, Invoices etc.
• Prepare VAT filing and VAT registration.
• Assist client in VAT implementation.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Making payroll, and others relative work.
• Must have knowledge in Office, QuickBooks, Sage and other relative software.

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
• Professional Certification such as "ACCA", "CMA" would be an added advantage
• Should have knowledge of IAS / IFRS
• Should be able to work under pressure and meet the deadlines.
• Ability to use logic, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills
• Capable of completing intricate tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• A confident communicator in both written and spoken language
