Currently we are looking for a talented accountant to join our team and participate in our journey toward providing competitive solutions and enhance clients’ experience.

The ideal candidate will provide and maintain excellent accounting service under the supervision of Accounting Manager.

Main accountabilities:
• Accountable for managing all aspects of the day-to-day accounting activities and the reconciliation processes.
• Able to support the integrity of accounting and financial decision-making information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and reporting financial data and transactions.
• Responsible for keeping accounting records organized and reconciled correctly including tracking accounts receivable and payable.
• Design custom-made management accounting information reports according to the different key stakeholders and business functions.
• Build strong rapports with local authorities such as: banks and other financial institutions, insurance companies and external auditors to facilitate smooth business communications.
• Follow up and regularly monitor the organizational expenditure, payments and working capital.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments when needed and as requested by accounting manager or Audit & Risk preventatives.
• Ensure the completeness of the financial and management accounts accurately and on a timely manner.
• Manage the periodic preparation of balance reconciliation between Newmatic and its clients or suppliers.
• Create detailed codes and distributes each code to General Ledger account according to the chart of accounts.
• Complete the approved budget transfer requests and journal vouchers (JVs) as required.
• Handel tax provision and tax compliance process and obtain tax balances on general ledger accordingly.
• Process the monthly payroll process, including the review and approval of employees’ salary payments, benefits and deductions to ensure accurate and timely payment.
• Take part in internal and external financial audit activities to ensure adequate financial controls are being implemented.
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, information, figures and analysis such as: income statement, reconciliation statement, profit and loss sheets, transfers, sales performance.

Requirements

Required competencies:
• Balance sheet, ledger management, financial statement, year-end close process, payroll administration, account reconciliation, measurement analysis and interpretation, systems and process Management, financial risk assessment, analysis and Management, financial judgment and budgeting, strategic thinking, conflict management and obtain confidentiality.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3+ as accountant inside Unites Arab Emirates in trading company working with for heavy equipment and machines.
• Higher diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting ERP software
• Should be fluent speaker in English (fluent in Arabic language will as an advantage but not mandatory)
