Job description / Role

Purpose

The position is responsible for all the accounting related activities of our Dubai office. He/she will be accountable for all the financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Work Overview

- Quarterly submission of VAT in UAE.
- Process and submission of Payroll.
- Establish books of Accounts Registration
- Issue invoices to the customers and ensure all the details are inputted correctly
- Reconciliation of day-to-day transactions
- Ensures quality control over financial transactions, working with other team members and policies to ensure correct data is included on invoices raised by other team members.
- Build relations with customers and take ownership with Accounts receivable, payables and credit control
- Monthly financial reporting
- Where relevant, recommends improvements to company processes to promote financial governance and increases in efficiency.
- Other duties that are not enumerated but are essential to the operations of the company.

- At least 2 years' relevant experience in the same capacity as an Accountant
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast phase and dynamic environment
- Advantageous: GAAP knowledge
- Advantageous: has worked in a multinational setting
