Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AP AR Accountant to join our dynamic team in the luxury retail sector in Dubai, UAE. This role is pivotal in managing our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the retail industry, coupled with excellent analytical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
- Oversee the accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, follow-up on payments, and maintenance of customer accounts.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of necessary journal entries and financial statements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to vendors and clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably in the luxury retail industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- SAP is a Must

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
