Accountant

Job description / Role

Our client, a Digital Innovation Service company located in Dubai are looking for an Accountant to join their team. This role will report into the Finance Manager, the role will suit an individual with an eye for detail and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets and reports
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Perform bank and account reconciliations, resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist in the processing of payroll for UAE and UK business
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline transaction processes and enhance accuracy

- Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting and reporting, preferably within a professional service organization
- Candidates working towards a professional accountancy qualification are preferred
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Salary:
AED 12000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
