Accountant

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.
- Support senior management with financial analysis and decision-making.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations.
- Solid knowledge of accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Multi-task person
- Excellent understanding of the Double Entry (debit/credit) bookkeeping principle.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is obligatory

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
