Job description / Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant and Admin to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. This role is crucial for maintaining our financial health and ensuring smooth administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights on financial performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Handle administrative tasks such as item procurement
- Support the HR function in managing employee records, recruitment processes, and onboarding of new staff.
- Generate reports and analysis for management to facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations within UAE.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity in handling confidential information.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes.
