Job description / Role
• Organised, efficient, proactive and diligent with attention to detail, approachable and conducive to the office environment
• Working knowledge of the following software: a market recognized ERP and accounting software systems and MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
• Drive and self-motivation to achieve chartered status with the relevant institution
• Drive to continuously develop your technical & behavioral skills
• Ability to apply technical knowledge in analyzing problems and creating solutions
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in English (verbal & written) within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Ability to adapt to changing environments
• Ability to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines
• Ability to positively influence others
• Have experience of setting up project financial plans and managing time sheets
• Ability to carry out monthly financial reconciliations and project reports
• Experience of managing payroll.
• Experience of accounts receivables and invoice collection directly from client organizations.
Requirements
Candidates must be no less than mid-level, have experience in either an architectural or engineering practice, have or are currently using a market accredited ERP system and know how to integrate time sheet management into the system.
• Bachelor of Accountancy graduate with at least 5-7 years’ experience in an international known firm.
• Experience in an Architectural or Engineering firm is a big advantage.
• Experience in the UAE market a strong advantage.
• Strong personality and ability to make sound financial judgement
• Strong presentation, communication and explanatory skills
