Accountant up to 4.5k Aed for a Beauty Salon in Dubai
• POSITION: Accountant
• SALARY: up to 4,500 AED depending on experience and qualifications
• HIRING COMPANY: Beauty Salon
• WORK LOCATION: Dubai Silicon Oasis or Al Warqa Mall
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1-month)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Female, 25 to 35 years old
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Perform daily cash reconciliations as well as monthly bank reconciliations, monthly manufacturer accruals reconciliations, adjusting and reclassifying journal entries as needed, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze the monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports per program and department.
• Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer’s benefit costs, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative tasks as required
• Ensure the presence of adequate internal control procedures for financial accounting and compliance with the established policies and procedures
• Supervise the input of transactions into General Ledgers
Requirements
EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• At least 2 years’ experience working as an accounting clerk/accountant
• Proficient understanding of Focus, Tally or Peachtree
• Candidates with UAE experience would be preferred
• Working knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• Understanding of accounting practices in the services industry
• Proficient in the English language
• Effective communication, analytical & problem-solving skills; ability to independently take decisions
• Excellent interpersonal and planning skills
• Attention to detail
• Good employee management skills, and effective leadership qualities
