Accountant - Trade Finance

Job description / Role

This job opportunity is with a leading FMCG company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling accounts payables and receivables, issuing invoices, and updating financial data. You would prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Document financial transactions and ensure the accuracy and availability of financial records. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Perform account reconciliations and yearly closings. You would Process Trade Bills to be sent to banks for negotiation. Follow up on Trade Bill's discrepancies, acceptance, and payment. Process accounting data entries into the accounting system.

Requirements

To be successful, you must have at least 3+ years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is a must. Having trade finance experience is a must.
