Job description / Role
Job Summary:
- Key accountabilities involves payroll, payments, reconciliation and perform other related accounting function within the various financial system.
Job Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Full cycle payroll: Ensures paperwork and approval for all payroll changes is collected, prepare payroll journal entries, reconcile payroll related accounts, prepare and disburse payroll reports.
- Updating payroll accruals on monthly basis – leave pay, Airfare, Gratuity
- Preparation of JVs for payroll accruals.
- Calculation of incentive and over time payment.
- Verification of Full & final settlements.
- Review of employee master in system.
Banking
- To process daily & weekly payments, printing Cheque or setting up electronic payments.
- Verification of all IBAN numbers before online payment processing.
- Liaising with bank for payments related queries, approvals and updation of bank related documents and signatories.
- Preparation of bank reconciliation on weekly basis.
- Verification of interest/ charges debited by the bank for term loan, OD etc.,
- Preparation of JVs of Interest and charges.
- Updation of currency exchange rates in oracle.
Fixed Asset
- Updating and maintaining files for approved CAPEX.
- Preparation of month end reconciliation of CIP accounts.
- Reconciliation of Fixed asset register and fixed asset GL on monthly basis.
- Verification of depreciation charged in the books every month.
- Responsible for asset capitalization and retirement in oracle.
Others
- Participate in various additional monthly closing activities, account reconciliations and assist in audit and tax engagement preparation.
Requirements
Education, experience and skills:
- Bachelor of Commerce, CA, CPA, ACCA.
- At least 4-5 Years experience in same field.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Experience in Oracle and ERP.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Accounting Software.
