Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a large Semi Government company based in Dubai,UAE.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you would be responsible to roll out group accounting policies and internal control guidelines (in compliance with IFRS). Ensure the Balance Sheet AND P&L reporting is complete and accurate. Prepare annual budgets and monitor compliance, ensure supplier invoices matches with purchase orders and provide assistance to treasury.
Handle petty cash transactions and ensure timely and accurate monthly accounting entries. In addition, you would constantly improve accounting accuracy via interaction with business units, maintain and documenting all responsibilities and procedures performed by the Financial Analyst function.
Requirements
To be successful you would ideally possess a University degree and professional accounting qualification.
