Employment: Full Time

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our clients. The role includes bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing cash flow reporting, and ensuring accurate bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and prior experience in the education industry.

Job Profile:

Bookkeeping and General Ledger Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records.
• Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger for various transactions.

Financial Reporting and Statements Preparation

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS.

Cash Flow Management

• Provide detailed cash flow analysis and projections to management.

Reconciliations and Compliance

• Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
• Oversee accounts, security deposits, and lease-related reconciliations.

Budgeting, Reporting, and Process Improvement

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting and analyze variances.
• Identify areas for financial process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (BCom, MCom).Professional certifications such as CMA, CMA Inter, CA Inter, ACCA, or CA are highly preferred.
• 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, preferably in the education industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics ) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial statement preparation, and cash flow management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Prior experience in the education sector is strongly preferred.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
