Accounting Team Leader

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at BOTH for an experienced Accounting Team Leader to join our leading outsourcing and management consulting business based in Abu Dhabi. The role has a mix of operational, supervisory and customer service tasks and gives you the chance to combine these with strong people skills to develop the team further.

Reporting directly to the CEO the candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising daily accounting processes
- Managing and developing the team through regular communication, training and evaluation sessions
- Coordination of team’s work with other team leaders, clients and senior management
- Ensuring all procedures and guidelines are followed by the team
- Cooperating with business partners within agreed KPIs
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal business partners
- Ensuring delivery of high standard client service

Requirements

- University degree in accounting, economics or finance
- Minimum of eight (8) years working as a practicing Accountant
- Three (3) – five (5) years of experience in a team leader’s position
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting processes – end to end
- Strong leadership skills, adaptability to change and initiative
- Excellent English language skills both oral and written
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
