Job Summary
The Accounts and Compliance Officer will play a key role in managing the financial, administrative, and compliance aspects of the company. This position involves handling bookkeeping, payroll, VAT reporting, licenses and establishment card renewals, and ensuring adherence to governance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to manage financial transactions and administrative processes effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Finance:
• Process and manage invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Oversee payroll processing, including WPS (Wages Protection System) submissions.
Compliance and Governance:
• Maintain compliance with office governance standards, including leases and insurance.
• Ensure timely renewals of licenses, establishment cards, and other company updates.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to address any compliance-related matters.
Administrative Duties:
• Handle bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
• Monitor and manage company assets, including insurance and lease agreements.
• Provide support for other administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of VAT compliance and payroll systems (including WPS).
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information responsibly.

Salary:
AED
6,000 to 10,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
