Job description / Role
The Accounts Assistant must follow the direction of his / her immediate Supervisor and operates in accordance with the Company Policy.
Responsibilities:
• Update financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
• Provides financial status information by preparing special reports, petty cash, cash on hands.
• Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
• Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts, analyzing. and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
• Secures financial information by completing database backup keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skills: ERP, MS Office, Accounting
• Excellent in Customer Service and ability to do multitasking.
Salary:
AED
3,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
