Accounts Assistant

Job description / Role

We have a vacancy for Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves daily accounting operations, documentation, reporting support, and coordination with internal departments and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities
• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system (Odoo / ERP)
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment follow-ups, and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger entries and assist in month-end closing activities
• Assist in payroll data preparation, including attendance, leave, and deductions
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations
• Assist in monitoring cash flow and payment schedules
• Maintain proper filing of financial records, contracts, and supporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (UAE experience preferred)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Odoo, SAP, or similar ERP is an advantage)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills in English

Salary:
AED 2,500 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
