Job description / Role

Responsibilities & Duties
- Payables
- Review invoices and cheque requests
- Sort and match invoices and cheque requests
- Verifying supplier statement of account and reconcile with our books before processing payment
- Monitoring supplier advances and ensure clearing in the system on time after received all supporting documents
- Prepare accruals sheet for suppliers and subcontractors
- Set invoices up for payment
- Process cheque requests
- Prepare and process accounts payable cheques, wire transfers payments
- Reconciliation of payments
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Vendor file maintenance
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports
- Assist in month end closing
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Superior

Requirements

Education:
Knowledge typically acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in Accounting.

General Purpose
Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. To provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control.

Apply accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
