Job description / Role
This job opportunity is for a Building Material Manufacturing company based in the Northern Emirate.
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you would be responsible in processing all invoices received for payment and for accepting the payment of all creditors in an accurate and timely manner. You will process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Perform day to day financial transactions, including classifying, computing, posting, recording accounts receivables’ data, preparing invoices and bank deposits. Facilitate bill reminders and contact clients as needed. Verify discrepancies in financial reports, resolve clients’ billing issues and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Requirements
To be successful you would ideally possess 5+ years accounting experience with a solid understanding and experience in Accounts payable, VAT regulations and SAP FICO software. You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related field.
