Accounts Payable Associate

Job description / Role

As an Associate - Invoice processing you will be participating in the migration of the work stream into a SSC center globally. You will be accountable for performing the accounts payable activities for all of the Averda entities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Receive and verify vendor invoices and Process those Invoices or Prepare batches of invoices to ensure all vendor payments are booked in the system
- Resolve Invoice on holds and provide resolution thru following up with the right contact person through email or telephone to ensure all vendor payments are done as per agreed terms
- Vendor Helpdesk - Handling different issues with vendors & resolving the outstanding invoices
- Perform Supplier statement reconciliation to ensure the accounts are update and avoid any duplicte payments

PERFORMANCE MEASURES/SUCCESS CRITERIA
- Meeting and exceeding the Key process indicators and Service Level Agreements assigned for the team

Requirements

- Minimum 2-4 years professional experience in invoice process is a must
- Preference for degree in accounting.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Good written and spoken English
- Fast typing & data entry skills
- Detail oriented
- Extensive Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge in any ERP Applications like Oracle, SAP , PeopleSoft etc.
- Preference would be given to candidates who can speak Arabic
