Accounts Payable Supervisor

Job description / Role

Inspire Selection is working with a client in JLT. This business has most of its operations in Europe and hence they work a European week (Monday to Friday). Hours 11am-8pm.

The Accounts Payable Manager will be liaising overseas with business units speaking European Languages and sometimes basic English. Therefore, the preference is to find someone who speaks French, Italian, Dutch and/or Spanish.

Responsibilities
- Monitor A/P team
- Responsible for verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable
- Identify potential VAT issues (A/P part)
- Prepare payment instructions
- Take part in Cash flow forecasting
- Maintaining process documentation
- Assist with external audits
- Be part of Ad-hoc projects
- Day-to-Day bookkeeping (Bank, Fixed Assets, Invoicing)

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Happy to work Monday to Friday (European hours)
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable, supervising a team
- Experience dealing with European countries is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluent in English, any other European language (French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish)
- Good analytical mindset
- Proactive attitude with a hands on approach
