Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job description / Role

General Job Scope
Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts receivable transactions to ensure that the Company’s finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner, and in compliance with the company’s policies.

Key Accountabilities
• Maintain up to date billing system and generate tax invoices for customers.
• Prepare customer statements, manage payment collections and follow up payments due.
• Perform account reconciliations and generate aging reports.
• Resolve customer disputes in collaboration with the operations team.
• Monitor customer credit limits and coordinate with account managers and customers to replenish account balances.
• Record receipts, allocate to invoices, and post entries in accounting and reservation systems.
• Manage refunds and issue credit notes.
• Prepare commission payout lists and coordinate with payables for processing per agreed terms.

• Minimum 5-Years UAE Experience in the travel or hospitality sectors.
• Qualifications: Graduate or Post-graduate in commerce/finance, CA Intermediate, ACCA.
• Experience in Zoho books, Tally or any other accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions.
• Strong Oral and Written English business Language Skills.
• Strong Organisational and Analytical Skills.
• Natural Team Player who is self-motivated and target driven.
