Accounts Receivables Assistant

Job description / Role

We are looking for a skilled Executive Accounts Receivables Assistant to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

• Post cash receipts to internal systems. Enter finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.
• Record settlement of new customer accounts and foreclosures
• Record and post daily receipt of all checks and payment files from third parties
• Research and process customer claims of invoice payment.
• Research and process charge backs, returns, bad checks and/or unallocated cash
• Handle miscellaneous payments and processing correctly in the accounting system as per directives
• Assisting in preparation of journal entries, processing adjustments as necessary and monthly preparation of cash flow forecast
• Support the A/R Financial Close and associated reporting, including adherence to system of internal controls.
• Assist in the documentation of procedures and processes and implementation of consistent and “best practices” in A/R.
• Additional adhoc tasks

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Accounting
• Functional Knowledge in Oracle System/equivalent accounting system.
• Min. of 1 to 2 years in Accounts Receivable or similar experience as an Accounts or Finance
• Executive
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and highly competent data entry skills (in both speed and accuracy).
• Functional understanding of Oracle software.
• Attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills.
