Accounts Supervisor (Female)

Job description / Role

We are currently searching for a FEMALE Senior Accountant / Accounts Supervisor with some experience gained in one of the Big 4 firms to oversee a team of 2 Accountants, for our MNC client in JLT.

The position will oversee all general accounting, and will also focus on Management Reporting and Cost Controlling. The role reports to the Regional FC, who is a dynamic and inspirational leader, and is keen on developing his team.

The company has doubled its turnover in the past 2 years and due to such rapid growth, the back-office functions have somewhat been left behind. Therefore the person coming into the role must be comfortable working in a slightly haphazard environment until more structure is put in place. Our client admits that ‘no two days are the same’, it is a challenging yet rewarding place to work.

Responsibilities

• Your initial duties will involve the successful set-up of accounting reporting for the MENA region, ensuring quality financial statements and informative monthly MIS is delivered on time.
• Continuously improve policies & procedures
• Implement internal controls and processes
• Keeping track of ongoing costs, identifying ongoing cost savings opportunities
• Produce reports per subsidiary - Monthly, Quarterly and annually
• Managing production of financial statements
• Liaise with key Management
• Review accountants’ work thoroughly and frequently
• Quality - check data and analysis through “spot checks”
• Provide cost estimates for budget forecasts

Requirements

• Chartered accountant – CPA/CMA/ACCA qualified
• Big 4 experience
• Female candidates only – to diversify from the male-dominated office
• Young, dynamic, driven personality
• Age: 27-33
• Hands-on accounting experience in industry
