Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Sell advertising space, Print and Online Media
- Proactively prospect, qualify, grow and maintain all sales activities, from lead generation to closing the sale
- Time bound goals to achieve and exceed, using methods such as cold calling, networking, exploring existing relationships, meetings with decision makers and key influencers etc.
- Manage all inbound sales leads and develop a focused prospect list
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of our products and clearly articulate our value proposition
- Create strong relationships with all contacts at client organizations
- Develop, prepare and lead sales presentations for prospects
- Administrative responsibilities include logging sales contracts into our CMS system linked with the accounts department to facilitate invoicing, supporting accounts department to ensure timely payment collections, liaising with client’s marketing communication department to ensure timely submission of advertising materials, maintaining sales pipeline reporting, status reporting, and forecasting
- Pursue and maintain an understanding of current industry trends in the various communications channels specifically with print and online media
- Work with appropriate departments to create compelling media solutions for advertisers
- Make a high volume of sales calls

Requirements

- Experience in media sales required
- Strong verbal, written communication and analytical skills
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Highly motivated, able to work in a proactive fast paced environment
- Able to prioritize tasks with a strategic business focus

Desirable
- Print and online media sales experience
- Medical/Healthcare industry awareness
- Exhibition industry awareness
