Job description / Role
The Project Resources Advisor is an integral part of the Project Excellence Dept. of Technical Center Unit in COMPANY's EDP Directorate. The main functions of Project Resources Advisor are (but not limited to) the following:
- In relation with COMPANY EDP Planning Unit and HR Unit the Project Resources Advisor designs the career ladders structures for COMPANY EDP Directorate in coordination with skill pool experts from the OPCO's including the implementation and maintenance of competence based skills portfolios to enhance the competence profiles of present and future E&P employees in support of COMPANY EDP business objectives.
- Provides functional support to the line management on staff issues and people development including review, audit and verification of the required skills standards across the COMPANY EDP business. Provides skills and best practices advice to COMPANY EDP Directorate and OPCO's within specific discipline areas.
- Builds and maintains, together with the COMPANY EDP Planning Unit close working relationships with the others resources management advisors in other disciplines in order to maintain coherence and consistency of the global approach of the resources managements in E&P Group Companies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a technical field.
- 10 to 15 years’ experience in E&P operator's organization.
- In depth understanding of the technical requirements of projects.
- Extensive experience of personnel development and strong interest in developing staff.
- Demonstrated ability in building effective teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact in a multicultural environment.
- Proven track record in networking.
- Self-motivated.
- Computer knowledge in different software programs.
- Fluent in English. Mastery in Arabic is a plus.
