Aerodrome Quality Assurance & Qms Manager - DWC

Job Purpose

• The purpose of this role is to monitor the implementation, maintenance, documentation, performance, effectiveness and oversight of quality management at OMDW Airport.
• The jobholder will be responsible for ensuring that the quality management system provides the necessary assurance to meet aeronautical data and data traceability in accordance with the various applicable regulatory, legal and industry best practice frameworks as well as Dubai Airports regulations and policies.
• The aerodrome quality assurance and QMS manager - DWC shall be nominated post holder for safety with regulatory body.
• Moreover, the quality assurance manager will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing aerodrome quality audit program for conformity with OMDW aerodrome/SMS Manual procedures and safety policies.
• This will guarantee an operational independent audit function.
• He/she will be responsible for monitoring quality indicators to identify existing issues and potential hazards.
• Moreover, He/she will be responsible for ensuring corrective actions have been identified within the system and that they are corrected in a timely manner.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education

• The job holder must have a minimum, degree level qualification in a field related to Aviation and/or similar industrial safety discipline/s.
• Additional professional accreditations and affiliations are highly desirable.
• Sound functional knowledge of the practical application of these skills, particularly structured safety systems, shall be demonstrable.
• The appointee is required to maintain a valid U.A.E driving license for light vehicles and be capable of attaining an Airside Driving Permit (ADP).
• Prior experience driving on the maneuvering area of busy airports is highly desirable.

Experience

• At least 5 years of practical experience in safety and quality management systems; within GCAA/DCAA and statutory legal operator.
• Significant experience within an Airport
• Environment with significant traffic movements.
• A proven record in successful service delivery and audit process is essential.

Knowledge

• Act as the focal point with regulatory authority for all matters related to Aerodrome Quality Assurance.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with all regulatory bodies and deal efficiently with stakeholders' expectations to establish confidence and respect with regards to Dubai Airports' actions and professionalism.
• Ensure that OMDW Operations understand and has minimum processes and systems in place to deliver compliance with all legislative requirements related to aviation and business safety.
• Develop and effectively implement a Quality Management System based upon GCAA and ICAO best practices and in accordance with the requirements of OMDW Aerodrome certificate.
• Manage, implement and maintain a comprehensive quality management system that addresses the wider issues of public, employees and third-party safety and occupational health.
