Job description / Role
Our client, one of the Middle East's leading financial institutions, have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Scrum/Agile Lead to join them as they look to push the boundaries in FinTech through their digital transformation.
The successful candidate will be a true leader, an experienced Agile practitioner and come from a background in Project Management. They will be responsible for managing multiple Agile teams in delivering activities within the Agile Portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Escalate impediments, manage risks, ensure value delivery and drive continuous improvements within Agile delivery squads
• Act as a point of escalation for any issues or risks, ensuring complete focus on delivering efficiency and business value in Agile delivery squads
• Managing interfaces and dependencies of features/Epics to be delivered
• Act as a Scrum of Scrums of Agile portfolio teams
• Work alongside Release Management team to formalize Build and Releases
• Work with ITO units to ensure uptime and monitoring to ensure customer satisfaction
• Establish strong relationships with Scrum/product owners to understand strategic, tactical and operational challenges in business units

• Extensive leadership experience within Agile Delivery
• Demonstrable experience in Release Management
• Previous experience in the banking/financial services industry
• Team player who can take ownership for delivery within his/her area
• Excellent communicator who can raise and discuss issues and conflicts with senior stakeholders
• Well-versed with automated build and test strategies using DevOps tools
• A passion for leading, developing and mentoring others
