Description

* Engage with key stakeholders to define business requirements and ensure project deliverables meet business and technical goals
* Manage project timelines, scope, and resources to ensure successful delivery of complex data projects on time and within budget
* Oversee project progress and ensure that all deliverables adhere to established quality standards and best practices
* Foster a collaborative and transparent project environment, focusing on clear communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
* Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to ensure that potential disruptions are minimised
* Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, promoting a culture of accountability, performance, and innovation
* Track and report on key project metrics, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and performance targets
* Lead the preparation of detailed project documentation, including business cases, risk assessments, and post-project reviews
* Adapt agile and waterfall methodologies to fit the nature of each project, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to changes in project scope or direction

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines)
* A minimum of 7+ years of experience in managing large-scale data projects, with experience in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies
* Proven track record in delivering complex data projects in an enterprise-scale environment, particularly with experience managing multiple streams of work
* Strong understanding of the project life cycle, from initiation and planning to execution and delivery
* Formal project management qualifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) and familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
* Proficient in using project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, and Confluence
* Experience managing large, diverse teams and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, business, and data teams
* Solid understanding of data architecture, analytics, and related technologies
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive project success in a fast-paced, complex environment
* Demonstrated experience in managing change and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment between project outcomes and organisational goals
