AI Data Engineer

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain a robust data ecosystem that powers investment research and internal decision?making. You'll partner closely with engineering, research, and product teams to create high?quality, scalable data solutions.

This is a hands?on opportunity to influence data strategy, optimise infrastructure, and introduce modern tooling across the enterprise.

Description

* Build data foundations that support LLM?powered applications and ML?driven workflows.
* Design, build, and manage enterprise data pipelines, models, and infrastructure.
* Acquire, cleanse, normalise, and enrich datasets from multiple sources.
* Collaborate with quantitative researchers and investment teams to meet data needs.
* Monitor, optimise, and document data systems, ensuring quality, performance, and security.
* Drive best practices in data governance, compliance, and platform enhancement.

* 6 years' experience in financial/quantitative data engineering within leading firms.
* Strong skills in SQL, Python, data modeling, and modern data warehousing platforms.
* Hands?on experience with Airflow, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
* Familiarity with financial datasets such as Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Global, and MSCI.
* Excellent communication, problem?solving, and ability to work across technical and non?technical teams.
