Job description / Role
Cabin Mechanics are required to work for a leading UAE-based Airline/Aviation company.
This is an excellent opportunity based in the UAE to join an established Aviation company, whilst being rewarded with a competitive package and a flexible shift pattern.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as a Cabin Mechanic performing various tasks including
• Maintain and overall Seat, Galley, Toilets, Lights, Carpets, and all other aircraft interior items, maintenance, cleaning, and repair
• Reporting, performance, and certification of maintenance work.
• Ensure all documentation is completely and correctly filled out and certified.
• Undertake transit, daily and Weekly cabin checks as directed by OPMC
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance using the approved tooling and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Understand the scope of approval and ensure the Client's approvals are valid and current
• Undertake any additional cabin maintenance task given to him/her by his supervision.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
• Valid FAA(A&P)or ATO
• 3 years minimum hands-on paid experience
Desirable Requirements
• Must have served an apprenticeship with either an airline or a manufacturer of cabins/interiors for aviation, rail, or coaches or the equivalent formal training.
• Familiarity with Industrial / Engineering work
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have taken and passed an LHT Cabin experts course, (Duration6 weeks)
