Airfreight Supervisor

Job description / Role

Objectives: Core objection is source and conduct with potentials airlines service (airfreight/air cargo) to support company business growth

Main responsibilities:
- Sourcing for potential pipeline/resources in airline industry to support company development
- Deal and establish partner relationship with airlines
- Coordinate with internal parties as well as external agents and airlines
- Acquire block space agreement with airlines
- Communicate with airlines with regard to space
- Conduct and assist in airfreight consolidation planning with the acquired space allotments
- Plan cargo and build up to achieve better rate. Airfreight Pricing – Ex. Dubai/ Re-export
- Data input; Tracking/ Tracking export/re-export shipment
- Re-export/ Document preparation

Reporting to: Branch Manager
Subordinates: Admin Executive
Other interactions: Branch Manager, Airlines, Agents
Duration: Permanent Position

Requirements

Nature and length of previous experience:
Min. 3 years experience in logistics and airline (cargo) service in UAE

Specialist knowledge:
- Dubai (Freezone/ DAFZA, etc) Customs Clearance knowledge
- Transshipment handling knowledge, from Dubai to other’s Middle East (GULF) countries/ Africa

Soft Skills and Personality traits:
- Good negotiator
- Able to work in fast pace environment
- Experienced professional

Language Fluency: English
