Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a global law firm who is looking for an experienced AML Lawyer. This role will involve supporting the current AML Manager to ensure that the firm is fully compliant with AML laws and regulations, professional conduct rules and financial sanctions.

In this role, you will be responsible for researching new and implementing current AML regulations, ensuring that the firm is compliant at all times. You will be required to advise on international finance sanctions applications including obtaining licenses. You will also draft and review engagement letters, NDAs and client terms. Additionally, you will assist with AML audits, advise on data protection and liaise directly with clients in regards to AML compliance.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have extensive experience working in a similar role for another law firm/legal department. You should be based in the UAE and have some experience of the local rules and regulations.
