About the Company
Established in 1972, ADNOC Drilling was the first fully-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and was set up with a mission to drill wells to enable ADNOC to unlock the UAE's vast reserves of oil and gas for the benefit of the nation. The company acquired its first rig, AD-1, in 1973, which can be seen today outside ADNOC Group's modern headquarters on Abu Dhabi's Corniche. For almost 50 years, ADNOC Drilling has enabled the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to safely and efficiently unlock United Arab Emirates' (UAE) oil and gas resources. ADNOC Drilling is key to delivering the targeted increase in crude oil production capacity by 25% to 5 million barrels per day by 2030 and achieve UAE gas self-sufficiency.
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the basic blocking and tackling of the Investor Relations function in ADNOC Drilling such as administrative coordination, assistance in manging the IR calendar along with publication of investor briefs, publication of press releases, drafting of presentations, earnings scripts and Q&A documents. The individual will also be deeply involved in preparation of materials and logistics for interactions with internal / external stakeholders through conferences, non-deal roadshows, the Annual Report process, organizing data for the shareholder register, trade logs and management / board reports.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Support in developing the Group's Investor Relations strategy, policies and procedures.
- Liaison with other departments to gather information for financial reporting.
- Closely track and monitor the Company's share price performance by providing analysis for internal reporting.
- Support in the development of financial reporting materials.
- Assist in manage consulting agencies and requests from Corporate Communications Division.
- Manage the day-to-day administrative activities and internal reporting, including Investor Relations Calendar.
- Handle investor enquiries and manage the investor relations emails and phone numbers Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Communication or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 2-4 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in capital markets (sell-side, buy-side, investment banking or private equity).
- Experience in reporting procedures and UAE public companies' regulations.
- Experience working / dealing with senior mangement e.g. Board of Directors, C-Suite, SVP, VP etc.
- Strong communication skills along with proficiency in Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
