Analyst - Project
The team provides and supports the systems that bring the business together. That means maintaining all it from the most basic desktop support to the most complex flight information systems. They are game changers for the industry by bringing us smart developments and advanced processes which revolutionize what we do.
Job Purpose
The purpose of the role is to contribute to consistent, effective and efficient project and Programme governance and management for all BT Projects, including Portfolio and BAU projects. Role holder is main contributor to developing, implementing and improving the BT Project Management process and quality check-points for all BT projects and programmes. Role must maintain the centralized list of all BT projects (Portfolio and BAU), establish and communicate the project templates and processes, and coordinate project reporting with all BT project managers and produce overall project and program reports as required for BT Senior management.
Requirements
Qualifications and Education
The job holder should hold a minimum of Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or business, or at least three years of relevant industry experience. ITIL V3 and/or Cobit 5. Process improvement training (e.g. 6-Sigma, Lean) an advantage. ISO IT Auditor training an advantage
Experience
The job holder should have a minimum of 3 years working experience in Project Management; out of which should have at least 1-year experience in Project Office, Project reporting, and/or a project planning environment.
Knowledge
Knowledge of IT Project Management, IT service management, Continuous Service Improvement, DA RADAR portfolio management system. Project Management policy and process in maintaining up-to-date versions of documentation needed to manage BT projects. Identifies and develops new documents in response to Project Management best practice and feedback from Project Managers. Project Reporting in consolidate individual project reports into Monthly BT project and Programme report for BT senior management. Project Quality checkpoints to carry out weekly reviews of all "Red" projects, tracking and monitoring progress and reporting to BT senior management.Project Management Continuous Improvement to contribute to overall Project Governance and project quality, through participation in the governance forum
