Job description / Role
JOB TITLE: Analyst - Treasury Back Office (UAE Nationals Only)
JOB PURPOSE: To process and carry out Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Markets (MM) or Derivatives (DV), Capital Markets (CM) and Investments (FI) product settlements related operations of Treasury Back Office as per the trade stream to ensure settlement of trades within required time frames as per market best practice

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Relationship:
• Line Manager - To agree performance expectations and review progress
• Internal Stakeholders - To provide operations support and information To provide/receive information
• External Counterparties - To liaise for settling trades and queries
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Treasury Business Support - Process the day to day activities of the Treasury Back office related to FX, MM or DV, CM, FI trade settlement operations and Nostro cash management in line with bank policies and procedures
• Reporting and Monitoring - Report on overall Treasury Back office functions related to FX, MM or DV, CM, FI operations and Nostro cash management and submit it to the line manager to provide timely management finance reports which are accurate and comprehensive
• Risk Management - Assist in monitoring operational risk issues by following processes and controls within the bank’s risk and incident management framework in order to inform the line manager to take actions accordingly
• Relationship Management - Assist in liaising with internal departments on matters of Treasury Back office FX, MM or DV, CM, FI operations when necessary to ensure related functions are executed accurately and within the required timeframes
• Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures - Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
• Self-Management - Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance
• Customer Service - Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
Requirements
• Minimum Experience - At least 1 year of experience in Treasury Operations FX, MM or DV, CM, FI
• Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or relevant specialization
• Knowledge and Skills - FX, MM or DV, CM, FI product knowledge FX, MM or DV, CM, FI Treasury workflow knowledge Knowledge of Nostro cash management operations Custodial settlement knowledge Payments systems and messages categories knowledge
