Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose
To maximize the sales and revenue by introducing and enhancing existing ancillary products through different channels across the entire network.  Supports the Product & Business development section in implementing the Strategic plans and initiatives that serves promoting ancillary products on-line, on board, at airports, and through business partners; manages the day-to-day ancillaries sales ensuring productivity is in line with set measures and company’s adopted policies and procedures Key Result

Responsibilities
* Assists the Head of E-Business & Product Development in developing function related strategies and action plans to achieve ancillary revenue yearly budgets for all Air Arabia network.
* Identifies gaps in performance and recommends new opportunities for growth and revenue maximization.
* Develops processes and assessment tools to monitor the performance of products, channels, routes, and stations and generate reports to keep track of the take-up rates and revenue achieved.
* Designs and generates ad-hoc reports as requested by the management.
* Monitors the performance of on-board and airport revenue streams to maximize sales ensuring collection is managed properly and as per agreed adopted policies and procedures.
* Conducts market researches and benchmark studies to keep up-breast with new trends and market development as well as competitors’ practice with respect to products and methodologies, thereby, identifies new opportunities for ancillary revenue streams.
* Develops studies and cost-effective proposals on new internal and external projects to improve existing ancillary revenues across the entire network.
* Optimizes the fee and charge levels, in line with market conditions, competitive changes, and customers’ demand.
* Partners with the different stakeholders such as Marketing & CC, IT, E- Commerce, Finance, Ground Operations and Cabin Crew to ensure successful launching of new products and improvement of existing ones.
* Initiates/builds on business relationships with existing and potential business partners, suppliers and service providers to ensure continuity and development of products and ancillaries.
* Negotiates prices, initiates agreements and contracts with external parties and providers; manages the day to day relationship with suppliers (insurance, hotels, car hire...)

Requirements

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
* Bachelor degree in Management or equivalent.
* Capable of using technology systems and tools; proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced skills in excel, (Microsoft Access a plus).
* Exposure to Data science Technologies.
* Fluent in English Language.  

Work Experience
* 5+ years of related working experience in managing ancillary revenue in Airline/Hospitality Industry; experience with low cost airline is an advantage.
* Capability in developing strategies, policies and procedures as well as drafting agreements and contracts.
* Very good project management and financial analysis skills.
* Working experience and proven records in enhancing sales through introducing new ancillaries and services to the work-place.
* Capable of creating attractive combinations of services and products to attract customers based on market trends and customer needs.
* Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying pitfalls and recommending cost-effective solutions.
* Cost-oriented, possesses effective persuasive, negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills.
* Employs a balance of technical expertise, and interpersonal relations to execute new initiatives that support company’s objectives.
* Product knowledge: capability of understanding market trends and channeling them leading to effective customer care solutions.
* Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
