Job description / Role
Duties and Responsibilities
• Design and build interfaces and advanced Android applications for improved user experience
• Writing clean code using Agile Methodology, Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, deploy new features and optimize deployments
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Desired Experience and Knowledge
• Solid Knowledge of Java, Kotlin is a plus
• Solid Knowledge of Android SDK, Material Design and android architectural components
• Knowledge of MVVM, MVP design patterns
• Experience with Dagger 2, Data Binding, ButterKnife, Retrofit
• Knowledge of Fundamentals of Testing Android apps
• Experience with collections/data structures
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, CouchBase, Cassandra, etc.) is a plus
• Experience in working on a mobile wallet or integrating with any popular mobile wallet application
• Experience in integration with SDKs performing card Tokenization is a plus Desired
Requirements
Qualifications
• BA or BS (MSc preferred) degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 5-7 years' software development experience with a minimum 2 years' proven work experience as a Mobile Apps iOS/Android developer
• Demonstrable portfolio of released Android apps in the App store and/or Play store.
• 2+ years' experience in software development for mobile commerce solution, E-money payments and other alternative payments methods
