Android/IOS Developer - Fintech

Job description / Role

We are supporting a growing Dubai based FinTech start-up who is seeking an experienced Android/IOS Developer who can support the entire application lifecycle from concept, design, test release and support. This is a hands-on role to create products within the payments domain.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Produce fully functional mobile applications, writing clean code using Agile methodology.
• Support the entire lifecycle from concept all the way to release and support.
• Design and build interfaces and advanced applications for the android platform to improve user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards.
• Ability to continuously discover and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.

Requirements

Candidates will need knowledge and experience in the following areas.
• Expert understanding op OOP design principles and in –dept. knowledge of Java android SDK and Linux. ReactNative is a plus.
• Experience with developing mobile applications that interface RESTful services.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Solid understanding of full mobile development life cycle.
• Proficient knowledge of coding practices including design documentation, unit testing, source control (GIT, SVN)
• Strong knowledge of unit testing.
• Experience with developing applications that run on multiple mobile devices with different from factors.
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
