Job description / Role
Application Support Engineer will support with the smooth operation of business-critical applications. This role holder will act as first level support in troubleshooting technical issues, monitor application performance, and collaborating with senior team to improve system stability and user experience.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years experience in application support, end user support, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server).
• Experience working with Linux/Windows environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of API integrations, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management tools (JIRA, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with executives and business leaders
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple assignments efficiently.
