Position Title: Arabic Department Head
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 17K AED depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, transportation, and tuition fee discount up to 3 children
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the Client:
A private co-educational K-12 day school in Abu Dhabi

Job Description:
- Serve as directors of curriculum and instruction in the department of their specialized subject
- Improve the quality of education in its various aspects such as curriculum development, instructional planning and implementation, assessment, professional development, and educational resources
- Take part in the recruitment process as requested by the Principal by conducting interviews for candidates that focus on pedagogical content knowledge

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Open to Arabic nationals
- 45 years old and below
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Arabic Language & Arts or any related degree; Master’s Degree will be an advantage
- At least 5 years of teaching experience preferably with extensive experience in a leadership role in addition to the 5-year teaching experience
