Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Arabic and English speaking Legal Administrator for a Multinational Law Firm, DIFC

• Manage relationship with document production unit alongside PAs, ensuring documentation is sent for processing and retrieved in a timely manner
• Maintain department filing systems, whether paper filing or e-filing
• Archive documents and files
• Print, photocopy and scan documents
• Engrossing Documents
• Assist with the creation and preparation of files, bundles and e-bibles and paper bibles including production of front sheets and spines
• Review and file/update own and fee earner inbox/outbox
• Preparation of draft bills, narratives and covering letters
• Complete expense reclaim forms in a timely and accurate manner
• Open new clients and matters in Elite
• Open, sort and distribute post
• Create presentations, format slides and input text and graphics using company housestyle
• Update InterAction (our business development software programme) with meetings, travel, contact reports and business cards
• Support fee earners and event secretaries with business development activities as appropriate

Requirements

• Demonstrates the comapny values of individuality, commitment, teamwork and straight talking.
• The candidate must possess good knowledge of Microsoft packages. Any knowledge of other legal packages is desirable although full training will be given.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm minimum
• Attention to detail is essential
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels
• Reliable
• View self as part of a professional team and as such responsible for delivering excellent service. Work proactively seeking to help and support colleagues
• Possess the ability to respond positively and promptly to requests at all times using initiative to seek solutions to problems
• Must have good written and spoken Business Arabic and English knowledge
