Job description / Role
The role of the Graphics Designer is a key position within a highly creative and collaborative environment, with a primary focus on demonstrating visual flair from concept to execution, executing fresh ideas that ensure the final creative product aligns purposefully with the strategy of the brief and the artistic spirit of the agency.
The GD must show a natural ability to understand and develop, often complex ideas, into a powerful visual language designed to communicate and inspire stakeholders, in the field of branding, environment and experiential graphics, print and digital.
A passion for all forms of communication is a must equally in layout, typography, infographic or visualisations surrounding the 3D environment.
Under the direction of the Art Director, the Graphics Designer and the 3D Motion Graphics Designer, assumes collective responsibility to collaborate and create powerful visual content in the communication of the project strategy.
The client is an events management company located in Dubai Studio City. The offered salary is AED 10,000-12,000 depending on the candidate's portfolio.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Excellent working knowledge in the following areas: Typography, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Key Note and Powerpoint.
- Innovation/creativity to generate new ideas and approaches; devising imaginative solutions to work-related problems.
- Attention to detail and ability to accept direction.
- Ability to work long hours during evenings and weekends as needed to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Efficient team player with internal and external contacts – being able to work collaboratively with others in a participative environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once and manage tight deadlines.
