Role overview

The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls (SZPAG) is looking to appoint an Arabic Learning Assistant for our Early Childhood and Elementary team.

The learning assistant will:

• Foster early Arabic language development in young learners through interactive and engaging activities.
• Support Arabic language acquisition and literacy development for young learners through differentiated instruction in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Assist teachers in lesson delivery, support students with hands-on learning experiences, and create a language-rich classroom environment.
• Work closely with Arabic teachers to reinforce classroom learning.

Prior experience in early years or elementary Arabic language instruction is recommended.

Position requirements (please only apply if you meet the below criteria)

• Bachelor’s degree (all subject areas considered)
• Relevant experience working in an Early Childhood or Elementary School setting
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
• Native Arabic speaker
• Strong English language proficiency
