Job description / Role
A well-established UAE business entity is in the process of setting up new offices in Dubai and is looking for an Executive Assistant to work with the CEO and serve as the primary administrative support to the CEO and the Board of Directors. This will involve assisting with wide variety of responsible and confidential administrative duties ranging from: Finance, HR, board meeting packs, attending meetings, working with confidential information, diary and travel management and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the role encompasses office and facilities management responsibility for the Dubai office and occasional travel to other UAE offices.
The successful candidate must be able to juggle competing priorities, and communicate and negotiate projects on behalf of all parties. You will be extremely well organized, have excellent interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to develop and maintain client relationships as this is pivotal to the success of the business. There will be follow up on existing and future projects both internally and externally in order to assist the CEO and the Executive team in their successful completion and often these will be accompanied by deadline pressure. You will possess the maturity to directly communicate, on behalf of the CEO, with Board members, clients and external relationships in regards to the CEOs programmatic initiatives and report back to necessary team members of follow up actions required. You will draft letters, personal correspondence, presentations and official internal communication and liaise with the Head of Finance to ensure documents and reports are up to date before submittal to the Board.
Our client is looking for a degree educated individual for the role and an individual with exemplary client relationship skills. A stable CV and at least five years working in a senior business support role is key for this position.
