A not for profit, independent organisation with several diverse members is currently adding to its team. Hosting a community of UN agencies and Intergovernmental Organisations they aim to provide a wide range of services including: emergency preparedness; response and evacuation; licensing and government services; secure and cost efficient warehouses and facilities; access to partnerships and fundraising and the development of an innovation lab. It is an organisation that has become the largest in the world and leads by example with compassion and assistance in humanitarian aid.

Our client is seeking an Arabic Private Sector Partnership Manager. The primary job purpose is to establish, develop and maintain key partnerships to support the organisation’s strategic initiatives in becoming an industry leader and expert in their field. In addition there are also member organisations to consider and this role will ensure that these members are compliant with strict fundraising rules and regulations.

The Arabic Private Sector Partnership Manager requires those with the capability to build and maintain business relationships with the private sector, potential partners and their peers to ensure a collaborative working style to benefit this not for profit organisation, in terms of awareness and fundraising activities. Part of this development will include implementing training programmes and a curriculum to engage the private sector with their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and you will very much be seen as the department resource for all private sector knowledge and information sharing. Additionally, the role will encompass coordination with the Business Development and Fund Managers to enforce and proposition the organisation in the single, short and long term commitments and agendas. Compliance regulations and policies also become part of this role and the individual will
support all departments and external authorities to develop concepts and integrate policy alongside the governmental guidelines for the UAE.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be adept in the exploration of the latest innovations trends, business development ideas and topics related to the Humanitarian sector in order to attract and target the new forward thinkers within the private sector to their organisation. It is essential that you are a confident bilingual (Arabic and English) candidate as the role will involve internal and external collaboration, networking and stakeholder management to heighten the reach of the organisation on a global platform. Successful applicants must possess a degree with a preference in Economics, Business Administration or Sustainability. It is also desirable that the individual has experience in sustainability and public and private partnerships and be goal and results orientated. You should be a clear and decisive leader, motivated and engaging to achieve results and possess high levels of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
