The role of the Arabic Registrations & Licensing Assistant Manager oversees the department along with the Manager to ensure all companies operating within the relevant freezone are up to date with all required compliance and documentation including licensing, freezone agreements, membership submittals, new applications to the freezone, amendments and cancellations of contracts and general queries. It is your responsibility to ensure all administration and workflow is effective and fit for purpose, ensuring minimal time waiting for members and that service is approachable and that information presented is accurate. You will therefore maintain strong relationships will all stakeholders and governmental bodies and be able to act with tact and diplomacy at all times, whilst ensuring full compliance and due diligence is performed to the freezone requirements.

You will also assist the Registrar to keep up to date with any changes in rules and regulations that will affect the freezone and its members and ensure policies and procedures are updated and monitored regularly to protect the same. You will manage communications, documents and legal information in and therefore the role will involve communications in both Arabic and English, so an exceptionally high standard in both languages is essential for this busy position.

Requirements

In order to be successful in applying for this role you must possess at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a freezone authority within the UAE and be degree educated. You will be professional and hard working to meet all deadlines and have strong communication and motivational skills to manage the team and maintain the excellent standards within the department. Due to the location of our client is it also essential that you have a UAE driving license and access to your own car as the location is not accessible via public transport.
