Job description / Role
With offices on a global scale our professional services client is currently seeking an Arabic Senior Paralegal to join their offices in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-established Paralegal to take the next step in their career with a truly professional organisation.
The focus of this role will be to assist with all corporate and commercial arrangements including review of client agreements, supplier and subcontractor contracts and to fully support the Legal Counsel to provide detailed advice concerning entity management, dispute resolution and intellectual property matters. As a Senior Paralegal you will champion the organisation’s contracting and risk management standards to ensure clear and concise internal processes and policies.
A great deal of time will be spent reviewing and editing contracts and responding to complex legal enquiries regarding the same, so candidates are expected to be proactive and manage their time effectively to ensure you act as the pivotal contact for all concerned. You will also provide accurate translations of technical language in Arabic to English and vice versa. In addition, the Senior Paralegal will ensure their personal area of expertise is maintained and shared amongst peers and managers to provide detailed and relevant responses to queries and final contracts. Ongoing contributions to developing this knowledge and ways of working will also become part of this role.
Requirements
To be successful in applying for the vacancy of the Arabic Senior Paralegal, candidates must be native Arabic speakers with an excellent command of the English language and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar field. You will possess a relevant degree and be accustomed to working in a fast paced environment and be extremely proactive and self-motivated. Familiarity with UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Lebanon operating environments coupled with professional services exposure are also highly desirable.
